New Laticrete Adhesive Simplifies Glass and Mosaic Tile Installation
Approved for glass tile on floors or walls, both interior and exterior, this one-step adhesive mortar does not require additives of any kind.
Las Vegas—During the Surfaces 2011 trade show held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Laticrete introduced a new adhesive designed specifically for the installation of glass and mosaic tiles. Approved for any type of glass tile on floors or walls, both interior and exterior, this one-step polymer-fortified adhesive mortar does not require additives or admix of any kind. An important feature is the consistent, ultra-white color that produces a non-sagging, thin-set if mixed with water. Also, the product’s Microban® antimicrobial protection inhibits the growth of stain-causing mold and bacteria.
“We’re most proud of the innovative single-component formula and how the resulting adhesive has a smooth and creamy consistency that enables installers to do their job faster, cheaper, better,” says Jay Deluca, Laticrete product manager.
Other Laticrete products present at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center were the Laticrete SpectraLOCKPRO Premium Grout with StainProof performance and enhanced non-sag properties. The company also revealed a new palette of color options including six new colors for designing with tile and stone, and an additional brighter white grout color option.
