As apartment footprints continue to shrink, residents will gravitate toward housing options that provide the illusion of more. New York-based CARVART, an architectural glass and hardware systems company that specializes is turnkey solutions, recently launched a new product called CARVART Crystal. Produced with sophisticated multifamily developers in mind, CARVART Crystal is a sparkling collection created by embedding precision-cut Swarovski Crystal into a laminated glass interlayer.
The new collection is available in CARVARTʼs core palette of glass (pure, warm and cool) and it currently comes in three patterns. Designers are encouraged to use these standard offerings as a launching pad for custom designs using the sparkle of CARVART Crystal.
CARVART was launched over 20 years ago by Anatoly Geyman as a mom and pop operation in a Brooklyn factory. Now under the leadership of Anatoly’s son Edward Geyman, who serves as CEO, the company has partnered with top architectural and design firms on projects in the US and abroad. CARVART’s newly designed headquarters/showroom on Varick Street in New York, serves as a sleek and uncluttered backdrop for collaboration.
“Swarovskiʼs product offering allows designers to fully express their creative spark on feature walls and partitions, furniture tops, or anywhere inspiration strikes,” says Geyman. Custom collaborations can yield a multitude of interesting combinations of color, transparency and pattern.
