National Multi Housing Council Elects New Officers

The National Multi Housing Council elected Thomas S. Bozzuto, chairman and CEO of The Bozzuto Group, to serve a two-year term as the Council’s chairman.

Boca Raton, Fla.—The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) elected Thomas S. Bozzuto, chairman and CEO of The Bozzuto Group, to serve a two-year term as the Council’s chairman. The event took place at the NMHC Annual Meeting on January 18 in Boca Raton, Fla.

As Chairman of the national association that is the leading voice for the apartment industry, Bozzuto will lead an NMHC agenda focusing on such priorities as advocating for a balanced housing policy–one which acknowledges the important role rental housing plays in meeting the needs of America’s workforce–and enhancing access to affordable debt. In addition, he plans to continue successful initiatives to build connections among NMHC members and within the apartment industry.

NMHC also announced the appointment of the following officers for two-year terms:

Vice Chairman: Daryl J. Carter, CEO of Avanath Capital Partners, Irvine, Calif.
Treasurer: Bob DeWitt, vice chairman, president and CEO of GID Investment Advisers LLC
Secretary: Sue Ansel, COO, Gables Residential, Dallas
