His responsibilities include developing Lane Co.’s acquisition strategy and overseeing all of the firm’s acquisitions. Lane Co.’s primary equity partner is Lubert-Adler Partners L.P. The firms announced earlier this year that Lubert-Adler will provide $250 million for the acquisition, rehabilitation and repositioning of distressed properties, or properties held by distressed sellers. Initially the firm will focus on opportunities in the Southeast and Southwest. Stahlke came out of retirement to take the position. Before his retirement, he was president of Windsor Capital Partners (now known as The Shoptaw Group), an investment firm which acquired large apartment communities for institutional pension funds and high net worth individual clients. He also served as president of Executive Capital Corp., where he oversaw all capital transactions including the acquisition, financing, rehabilitation and sale of apartment communities in 13 states.Pinnacle Hires New Executives for Legal, Human Resources Department Dallas–Pinnacle has hired Kathryn Mansfield as vice president & general counsel of the company’s legal department where she will be responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including all contracts, vendor agreements, property management agreements, litigation and all other legal matters. The company also hired Jean Reynolds, former vice president of human resources for The Staubach Co., as vice president of human resources. Mansfield is a licensed attorney with 25 years of experience in the real estate business. Before joining Pinnacle, Mansfield was executive vice president and general counsel for Tarragon Corp., a residential real estate developer and property manager.Reynolds held overall responsibility and accountability for all human resource services at The Staubach Company, including workforce planning, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, employee training, health and welfare benefits strategy and administration and compensation. Prior to Staubach, Reynolds served as the director of human resources for AMRESCO Inc.Andrew R. Wilson Joins Aries Capital as VP of Chicago OfficeChicago–Aries Capital has hired Andrew R. Wilson at the firm’s Chicago office as vice president. In his new role as vice president for the firm, Wilson will be responsible for analyzing retail developments, structuring and pricing financing, and note purchase transactions. His duties will also involve providing asset management expertise including lease review, zoning analysis and development oversight.Prior to joining Aries Capital, Wilson served as the real estate development director for General Growth Properties in Chicago.
