Jamie Woodwell Named VP of MBA’s Commercial/Multifamily Research Washington, D.C.–The Mortgage Bankers Association has promoted Jamie Woodwell (pictured) to vice president of commercial/multifamily research. In this role, he will continue to lead the research on commercial finance and multifamily finance issues, and will be responsible for providing economic and policy analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals. He will also serve as the industry’s lead source of information and interpretation on macroeconomic and capital market trends to meet MBA’s commercial/multifamily members’ needs and the needs of the association.Prior to joining MBA in 2004, Woodwell was manager of Data Initiatives for the multifamily group at Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for developing multifamily data standards and for projects consolidating data from various business lines. He also served as the senior director of business development at CapitalThinking in New York, director of market research at the WMF Group in Vienna, Va., and research manager at the National League of Cities in Washington. “Jamie’s in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial and multifamily finance issues has proven invaluable to MBA’s membership and the overall industry,” says Jonathan L. Kempner, MBA’s president and CEO.Woodwell will continue to oversee MBA’s surveys on commercial/multifamily production and servicing, and will produce regular and topical reports. He will also continue to serve as the staff representative for MBA’s Commercial/Multifamily Research Committee.Jones Lang LaSalle Promotes Kenneth Rudy, Kim LeshmanChicago–Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted Kenneth Rudy to president and chief operating officer of the broader Capital Markets team, and Kim Leshman as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer. Rudy was CEO of corporate capital markets and Leshman was chief operating officer.Both will report directly to Capital Markets Group Chief Executive Officer Earl Webb, allowing him to focus more of his time on client relationships and new business development.Along with his new duties as president and COO of Capital Markets, Rudy will also maintain his role as CEO in corporate capital markets. In his new position, he will help the Capital Markets Group continue on its strategic growth path by expanding product lines. He will also work to integrate more closely with local markets and with the corporate accounts teams across the country. In addition, he will work with Earl Webb to set new strategies for the group. He will continue to serve as a member of the firm’s Global Capital Markets Board and Americas Strategy Council.In addition to her financial budgeting and reporting responsibilities, Leshman will oversee all of the firm’s IT, on boarding of new employees, event planning and execution, and marketing and research capabilities. Leshman has been a Jones Lang LaSalle executive for the past 19 years. She joined the capital markets team in 1993 and has been overseeing capital markets operations since 2004. Jose Carlos Jimenez Named Sales Executive for Infinity at BrickwellMiami–Jose Carlos Jimenez (pictured) has been named sales executive for Infinity at Brickell, the luxury all-loft condominium tower rising in the Brickell area.
