Dallas—Interior design firm Moore Design Group will partner with Dallas-based real estate company Alamo Manhattan Inc. in the development of two urban multifamily developments in the uptown and downtown areas of Dallas.
Monaco, at 3003 Carlisle St., will be a six-story, 192-unit apartment building with a three-level parking garage. The community will feature a pair of interior courtyards and a pedestrian bridge connecting the community to the popular Katy Trail. It is slated for completion in late 2013.
Moda, one block from the American Airlines Center in an area of hip restaurants, bars and galleries, is to be a six-story, 263-unit mixed-use apartment building with 3,500 square feet of retail space and two levels of parking.
Offering condo-level finishes and an outdoor amenity deck with infinity-edge pool and fire pit, Moda will be available for first occupancies in early 2014.
At Monaco, Moore Design Group’s team will meld the community’s Mediterranean-themed architecture with elements that appeal to active residents who value wellness, fitness and the outdoors. The community will be targeted at young professionals who work hard and value exclusivity.
The design features neutral hues, earthy materials and a contemporary furnishing scheme. The view from the amenity space to the pool deck helps create an indoor-outdoor hideaway from the metropolitan environment.
At Moda, which features private patios overlooking Victory Park, Moore Design Group created a design that unites the pool deck outside with the amenity area, enabling future residents to savor the downtown skyline. The apartment community’s limited color palette emphasizes grays, whites and chocolates, with contrasting elements of tangerine and azure.
“It’s important to deliver an immediate wow factor,” says Stephanie Moore Hagar, founding principle of Moore Design Group. “The first 10 minutes of a guest experience define their mindset for their entire stay. We have to hook them immediately. We keep the vision so that potential residents know the property is unique from their first impression.”
Moore Design Group takes the brand established by the developer and makes it relevant to the market of each property location, Hagar says.
“We offer the right kind of vigor and energy through the task of design, to keep within the neighborhood aesthetics, which is a critical part of our scope of work,” she says.
Moore Design Group is very well established, and brings extensive knowledge and experience to every project, Hagar adds. “We are eager to meet every challenge, and firmly believe that nothing is as important as attention to the many details associated with designing fine interiors. We are known and trusted for our dedication to our clients and our ability to deliver high-quality interior architectural design true to the design intent.”
