Monument Real Estate Services Adds VP of Operations

Carey Dougherty, VP of operations

Monument Real Estate Services appointed Carey Dougherty as vice president of operations. Based in South Florida, Dougherty will be working with a leadership team which oversees 60 apartment communities across 10 states. In this new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in support of executing the company’s strategy.

Bringing more than 35 years of experience in property management and real estate, Carey Dougherty has previously worked at Elite Street Capital. As president of property management, she developed all property management company policies, as well as procedures designed for corporate and on-site levels.

“Carey’s experience and proven track record in multifamily real estate will serve as a valuable asset that will bring a new dynamic of growth to the entire Monument team,” said Gregory Lozinak, CEO of Monument Real Estate Services, in prepared remarks. “Her extensive experience on the operational side of our industry further enhances our company’s capability to provide exceptional services to our residents and communities,” he added.

Dougherty also served as vice president of operations at Invitation Homes and as western regional president at Cottonwood Residential. She began her career in real estate as regional manager at Lincoln Property Co., continuing at Trammell Crow Residential, and later as regional vice president at BH Management Services.
