Minto Communities Sells Out Villas By The Sea

The Florida property is an island-inspired, low-rise community.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.—Minto Communities recently completed the final buildings and sold out Villas By The Sea, a 117-unit residential community located in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Fla.

Situated at 4510 El Mar Drive, Villas By The Sea is an island-inspired, low-rise community with four four-story buildings. The first two buildings, Oceanside South and Oceanfront South, which in total contain 66 units, started leasing in 2006 and were both completed by 2009. The buildings consist of two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 1,565 to 2,300 square feet with gated courtyards. Each unit features private terraces and balconies, and select units have panoramic ocean views.

Sales for the final two buildings, Oceanfront North and Oceanside North, began in December 2014. Construction is now complete for the combined 51 residences, the last of which to sell was the Coastal model in Oceanside North. Situated just a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean, the 1,565-square-foot, two-bedroom unit features two bathrooms, an open study, high-impact glass, granite in the kitchen and baths and a covered balcony.

At the time of publication, Minto nearing its goal of selling out Artesia, a community development in Sunrise, Fla. The firm is also developing LakePark at Tradition, a community in St. Lucie County, Fla., which features resort-style amenities and offers single-family and villa homes ranging in price from $190,000s to $200,000s.
