BFClubhouseExtBeckett Farms, a new 280-unit apartment community from national developer Miller-Valentine Group, has opened in Fort Mill, S.C., a southern suburb of Charlotte, N.C.

Beckett Farms offers luxury apartments and a farmhouse aesthetic in a park-like setting. Floor plan mix includes one-, two- and three-bedroom units with rents that range from $1,040 to $1,655. Unit features and finishes include upgraded wood-style flooring, farmhouse-inspired fixtures and lighting and in-unit washer-dryers. Kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, free-standing islands and tiled backsplashes. All units offer covered outdoor balconies. A limited number of private garage spaces are also offered.

Among the common-area amenities are a salt-water mineral pool with sun shelves, private covered outdoor cabanas, lounge chairs, fire pit lounge and outdoor kitchen with grill stations.

Within the 6,000-square-foot clubhouse is a cyber cafe and state-of-the-art fitness center. A secondary fire pit, outdoor dining areas, grilling locations, pocket parks and play lawns with benches, tables and swings are located across the property.

Close to job hubs

The community offers a convenient location near the intersection of Gold Hill Road and Interstate 77. That address is near local job hubs like Whitehall, Ballantyne and Fort Mill. Shopping and dining can be found at Springfield Town Center, Kingsley and Baxter Village. The property is within the highly sought Fort Mill School Districts, and just five minutes from Anne Springs Close Greenway, with 2,100 acres of outdoor recreation and 40 miles of trails.

With Beckett Farms, we wanted to combine all the perks of modern apartment living with a prime location in Fort Mill, surrounded by a creek and wooded areas,” said Charles Rulick, vice president of multifamily development for Miller-Valentine Group. “We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and can’t wait to share the results with our future residents.”

This is not Miller-Valentine’s first luxury community. The company has also developed WaterStone at Carriage Trails in Ohio.
