Mill Creek Begins Preleasing at San Diego Community
The 368-unit property represents the first downtown development for the firm.
Mill Creek Residential has launched preleasing at Modera San Diego, located in the city’s downtown area. Modera San Diego features 368 apartments in studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans.
Apartments feature 9-foot ceilings, smart home features including Nest thermostats and programmable lighting, soaking tubs with tile surrounds, and quartz countertops with matching backsplashes. Among common-area amenities are two outdoor courtyards.
Bearing an address of 1445 K St. and situated at the corner of 14th and K Street, Modera San Diego represents the first downtown San Diego development community for Mill Creek Residential. Residents will be able to walk to MLB’s San Diego Padres’ home stadium Petco Park, as well as the Gaslamp Quarter and Quartyard Events Plaza.
Transit-Oriented
Also close by are the beach, Mission Brewery and Little Italy. Two blocks away is a San Diego Trolley station, offering connections to the greater downtown area, and links to Amtrak regional lines.
Modera San Diego is four minutes from San Diego City College. Three shopping centers, including Crosby Square, are located within five minutes of the apartment community. The New Children’s Museum, Friendship Garden, Balboa Park, Fleet Science Center and the Maritime Museum of San Diego are among the parks and recreational areas within seven minutes driving time of the apartment community.
The apartment community is also well situated to take advantage of the city’s emerging creative office center, home to many job opportunities in the design and technology fields, which are helping enhance the city’s employment market. Last week, Mill Creek Residential began building Modera Skylar Phase II in downtown Miami.
First move-ins are scheduled to take place later this summer.
