Construction is nearing completion at Artistry St. Pete, a 246-unit development in St. Petersburg, Fla. being developed by Milhaus.

DWELL Design Studio, Core Construction and Engineer George F. Young are also collaborating on the $52 million project. According to Yardi Matrix data, the developer financed the construction with a $33.8 million loan from Regions Bank. Groundbreaking took place in January 2019 and delivery is slated for this May.

Located at 1601 Central Ave., the six-story building includes 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 324 parking spaces. The community will feature work from local artists on display at its rotating gallery and permanent installations. Artistry’s studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units range from 525 to 1,257 square feet. Amenities include a maker’s space, fitness center, bark park and pet spa as well as a pool and rooftop sun deck.

The development site is one block east of Interstate 275, between the Grand Central District and the Edge District. The property is less than two miles northwest of city center and two miles west of Spa Beach, in an area filled with shops, restaurants and cultural venues. Artistry is also located near another multifamily development underway in The Sur Club, with expected completion in the last quarter of 2021.
