Miami–Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has completed vertical construction on all three of its 27-story towers of the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort.
The resort, scheduled for completion in 2011, will include 270 private residences and 37 hotel condominium suites, in addition to 205 guest rooms.
Located on 600 lineal feet of beachfront, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort features private St. Regis residences ranging from one- to four-bedrooms, starting at 1,777 sq. ft. and going up to 6,868 sq. ft. It offers residents access to the resort’s hotel services and amenities, such as butler service, access to the resort’s Remede spa, pre-arrival grocery shopping, in-residence dining, private chauffeured transportation, housekeeping and in-residence pet services. Residences start at $1.9 million, with an average price $4 million.
The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is located on Collins Avenue at the northern tip of Miami Beach. One driver to the sale of the residences is its location directly across from luxury shopping destination Bal Harbour Shops, says John Manrique, vice president of sales and marketing for The Residences at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. Also, Starwood has been very selective in its use of the St. Regis brand, says Manrique.
“It’s not an overextended commodity,” Manrique says. “[Starwood] is very selective about where they fly the St. Regis flag.”
While Manrique does not disclose what percentage of the residences have been sold, he says they are attracting buyers from the Northeast U.S., Latin America and Europe, as well as from the Miami area.
