Mark-Taylor Residential has opened San Bellara, a 180-unit luxury community in North Scottsdale, Ariz. Yardi Matrix data shows the developer financed the project’s construction with a $35.9 million loan originated by U.S. Bank.

The garden-style community incorporates 16 buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 972 to 1,731 square feet. Apartments feature in-unit washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets, granite counters and 10-foot ceilings, as well as private balconies or patios. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, business center, resident clubhouse, as well as outdoor cabanas and EV charging stations.

Located at 17800 N. 78th St., the 12-acre property is 2 miles north of State Route 101, some 15 miles from the Scottsdale city center and roughly 25 miles from downtown Phoenix. Mayo Clinic Hospital, as well as other large employers, are within a 5-mile radius.

Since 1985, Mark-Taylor has developed more than 20,000 units across Arizona. The firm is also providing management services for numerous properties, including a recently delivered $71 million community, also in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Yardi Matrix data shows that since the beginning of the year, eight properties totaling 1,870 units have been completed in the metro.
