Maplewood Senior Living launched its newest property on the Maplewood at Mayflower Place campus, a full-service continuing care retirement community in West Yarmouth, Mass. Mill Hill Residence offers assisted living and memory care options for area seniors.

Located in the heart of Cape Cod at 164 MA-28 on the former site of the Mill Hill Club, the two-story, 75-unit senior community has licensed nurses available 24/7 and eight affordable units. Community amenities include a light-filled lobby, open-kitchen and display dining venues, bistros, wellness center, Acai Spa & Salon, libraries and stone fireplaces throughout. In addition, the community will feature water views, outdoor gardens, courtyards and a walking trail.

Stein Troost Architecture designed the community to reflect the style of Cape Cod, while Perkins Eastman handled the interior design. NEI General Contracting served as the construction partner of the project, which broke ground last September. Maplewood also broke ground in June on a $270 million luxury senior living development in Manhattan earlier this summer.

The asset is a five-minute drive from Cape Cod Hospital and close to theaters, restaurants, shopping centers and golf courses, as well as local attractions such as Gray’s Beach, a 19th-century windmill and quaint sea captain’s homes.
