In our latest Multifamily’s Top Marketers podcast, Lindsay Brown of Campus Advantage discusses what’s next as campuses come back to life.
Lindsay Brown, senior vice president of leasing and marketing at Campus Advantage, discusses what’s happened—and what’s happening—in student housing with Multi-Housing News’ Senior Associate Editor Jeff Hamann. Brown brings more than 18 years of marketing experience within the sector to her role, where she oversees the company’s marketing strategies and leasing activity nationwide.
Brown weighs in on some of the sector’s troubles during the past year, noting that student housing may be turning a corner as college campus prepare to spring back to life this fall. She highlights some of the positive—and likely permanent—shifts that have come about in how properties are marketed to renters. “We had to turn to them digitally. We found a lot of great, new creative outlets for digital marketing. … We have really invested in great photography over the last year, 3D Matterport tours that are up to date … and I think that is all definitely going to stay.”
Even as students move back to campus, however, some considerations remain, particularly around how to effectively manage access to amenities in a time of social distancing. Brown shares how Campus Advantage is managing this landscape and more in our latest episode of Multifamily’s Top Marketers. Don’t forget to follow MHN’s podcasts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify!
