Magellan Debuts Midtown Five
The company's first property in Miami includes 52,000 square feet of luxury indoor and outdoor amenities, as well as smart-home features.
Miami—Magellan Development Group announced the opening of Midtown Five, its first Miami property. The 24-story, 400-unit apartment building located at 3201 Northeast 1st Ave. received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy from Miami-Dade County before the New Year. The project was under construction for 18 months and residents have now begun to move into the offered studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, ranging from 540 to 1,500 square feet.
Interior features include nine-foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows offering views of the Miami skyline, contemporary cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, GROHE fixtures in the kitchen and baths and smart-home features such as Smart Thermostats, USB ports and a keyless entry.
“We are thrilled that Midtown Five renters can now enjoy their units and the various superior amenities we’ve curated specifically for this community,” said Brian Gordon, executive vice president of Magellan Development Group. “The interest in Midtown Five has been overwhelmingly positive, as this property truly moves the needle in sophisticated, multifamily offerings.”
Residents have access to 52,000 square feet of luxury indoor and outdoor amenities including a 2,750-square-foot fitness center, yoga lawn, meditation garden, children’s play area, electric car charging stations, spa with sauna and steam rooms, a 2,700-square-foot pool, canopied cabanas, outdoor Whirlpool spa, business center, conference rooms and a dog run.
The building is located a short distance from Miami’s Design District and Wynwood neighborhoods with immediate access to major highways and thoroughfares such as I-95 and Biscayne Boulevard. Midtown Five is minutes from downtown, Miami Beach and the airport.
“We couldn’t have chosen a better location for our first Miami project,” Gordon told Multi-Housing News. “The multifamily product fits seamlessly into the Midtown neighborhood, combining the surrounding walkability and culture with Midtown Five’s modern interiors, sustainability and incredible amenities.”
