Luxury Nashville Development Secures $253M
The 30-story building will include more than 100 residences.

The partnership of Pendry Hotels & Resorts, SomeraRoad and Trestle Studio has received $253 million in construction financing for Pendry Nashville and Pendry Residences Nashville, a luxury mixed-use development in Nashville’s Paseo South Gulch district.
The 30-story tower will include 180 hotel rooms and 146 condominiums. The establishment is set to feature a restaurant, a bar, a rooftop swimming pool, a garden, indoor and outdoor fitness centers, a library, a junior ballroom with a show kitchen and a ballroom with a private outdoor terrace. It will also feature approximately 10,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces.
The luxury hotel residences will feature one- to four-bedrooms floorplans ranging up to 3,800 square feet. Future residents will have access to amenities such as the private rooftop pool, a dining room, a whiskey room, a billiard room and parking spaces.

Earl Swensson Associates Inc. will serve as the main architect, alongside Post Co. as interior designer. Additional partners include JE Dunn Capital Partners, Redeavor and Clark Construction.
Walker & Dunlop arranged the financing, provided by Bank OZK and InterVest Capital. The developers are set to break ground immediately, aiming to open in 2027.
Senior Managing Directors Aaron Appel, Keith Kurland, Jonathan Schwartz and Adam Schwartz, Managing Director Michael Diaz, Senior Director Sean Bastian and Director Jackson Irwin led Walker & Dunlop’s New York Capital Markets team which arranged the loan on behalf of the developers.
A master-planned development
The Pendry Nashville and Pendry Residences Nashville development is part of Phase 3 of the Paseo South Gulch master-planned micro-neighborhood. This mixed-use district by SomeraRoad spans approximately 1 million square feet and includes residential, office and retail spaces.
Paseo South Gulch encompasses two new residential towers with over 600 units, repurposed historical buildings for retail and creative office spaces and a luxury apartment building with 278 residences. The neighborhood also features dining, shopping and entertainment options, with interconnected walkways and plazas. The development has a blend of historical preservation and modern construction, which maintains the area’s unique character.
