LMC Starts Leasing Chicago Community
The mixed-use property in the Bucktown neighborhood is expected to see its first move-ins next month.
LMC is looking to expand its Chicago multifamily footprint with its Triangle Square Apartments project. The developer began pre-leasing at the 298-unit community located in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood, with first move-ins expected for July. LMC is expecting to complete Triangle Square this fall, after breaking ground on the community in December 2019.
The seven-story community will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 464 to 1,413 square feet. LMC will also be building some of Triangle Square’s units with private balconies or terraces, pantries, wine racks, under-cabinet lighting and walk-in closets.
The mixed-use property’s amenities will include a 30,000-square-foot outdoor amenity deck, pool, catering kitchen, dog run, fitness center, co-working space, billiards spaces, package lockers, bike storage, storage lockers and dry-cleaning lockers. Triangle Square also includes 21,223 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The asset’s location at 2155 N. Elston Ave. will give residents nearby access to the area’s highways, like Kennedy Expressway, North Avenue and Lake Shore Drive, while also being next to the Metra Clybourn station.
EXPANDING CHICAGOLAND PORTFOLIO
With Triangle Square Apartments nearing completion, LMC will add an eighth development to its Chicago metro area portfolio. Earlier this year, LMC also started leasing at The Fynn in Elmhurst, Ill., in March after breaking ground on the 212-unit community in November 2019.
Also located in Chicago alongside Triangle Square, LMC has developed the Marlowe and Gateway communities. Further out from the city, the developer also built The Emerson in Oak Park, Brook on Janes in Bolingbrook, Tapestry Glenview in Glenview and Tapestry Naperville in Naperville.
