Lennar Multifamily Communities has opened The Morris, a 344-unit luxury mixed-use apartment community in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row. Built on the site of the production stage of legendary Dale Morris, the 12-story building pays tribute to the country music industry.
Located at 818 19th Ave. S., in the Midtown submarket, The Morris is in close proximity to downtown, Vanderbilt University and The Gulch, an urban development on the edge of the CBD that plays host to numerous live music performances. The Morris includes a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom units as well as seven floors of parking and 6,373 square feet of retail space. Apartment interiors are equipped with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-home washers and dryers, ceiling fans and wood-like flooring. Additional community amenities include:
- a 19th-floor lounge with pool
- fitness center
- clubroom
- a seventh-floor outdoor terrace
- pet spa
- bike parking and repair station
- business center
- 548 parking spaces
An authentic Nashville experience
The Morris features a music studio and a rooftop performance stage. The community includes music-themed design that reflects the rich music history of Nashville. Two autographed Alabama guitars, Morris’ songwriting guitar and big-picture views of Kenny Chesney’s stadium tours were also incorporated in the building.
“The Morris is among the most unique communities we’ve ever had the pleasure of developing. The grand-opening celebration was a fitting way to kick-start what we believe will be an authentic Nashville experience for our music-loving residents. We’re truly honored to celebrate Dale’s legacy with the community and cannot wait to welcome home our new residents,” said LMC Divisional President Chris Cassidy, in prepared remarks.
According to Yardi Matrix data, leasing for the 344 units started in July 2017.
