LMC Launches Leasing at FL Community
The Whitney, a 386-unit mixed-use property in Fort Lauderdale, offers trendy amenities such as coworking spaces and smart-home technology packages for select units.
LMC has launched leasing at a 386-unit apartment community in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Whitney, a mixed-use property located in the heart of Flagler Village, is comprised of two towers and 2,223 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Located at 120 NE 4th St., the community is situated near Interstate 95 and US Route 1 and a few blocks from an express train station. The Whitney offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 512 to 1,719 square feet.
Upscale Amenities, Artsy Neighborhood
Community amenities include a sun deck, swimming pool, fitness center, speakeasy bar, community lounge, game room, business center and dog run. Select apartments are equipped with smart-home technology including electronic shades, remote light and speaker control and smart thermostats.
“Flagler Village has a unique atmosphere, where high-end shopping and luxury apartments join a hipster-inspired, artsy neighborhood,” said Michael Pelczar, vice president of development, South Florida for LMC, in a prepared statement.
LMC has been busy lately, with two other apartment communities the company owns launching leasing in the past month. The Valdok, a 178-unit community in Seattle, and The Marisol, a 278-unit community in Carlsbad, Calif., both began leasing units in early October.
