Maris ApartmentsApartment development and management company LMC has opened Maris, a community in coastal Annapolis, Md. Located at 2445 Holly Avenue, the community features 293 apartments, a rooftop amenity area and a location in a highly walkable Annapolis neighborhood within steps of many Chesapeake area attractions.

LMC also created a pocket park as part of the development. Located next to the leasing office, the park includes landscaping, benches and picnic areas.

Maris offers a blend of studios and one- and two-bedroom apartment homes that range from 559 to 1,288 square feet in size.

Rooftop amenities

Custom built-in kitchen islands with pendant lighting, designer kitchen accents and cabinets with built-in pantries, under-cabinet lighting, wine bars and quartz countertops are among the features and finishes of apartments. Residences also offer hardwood-style flooring, full-height tile tub surrounds and large walk-in closets. Corner and top-floor homes offer 10-foot-high ceilings and more luxurious appliances.

Rooftop amenities include a pool, cabanas, patio with outdoor kitchen and grilling areas, viewing deck with a large-screen television and social lounge with an entertainment bar. Other common-area amenities include fitness center with motivational wall, business and conference center, central courtyard and yoga/spin studio.

The LMC Loves Pets program, featuring pet spa days, pet socials, a bark bar and additional pet-friendly activities, is available to residents’ four-legged friends.

Close to attractions

Residents should benefit from convenient access to Highways 50, 450 and 2. Interstate 97 can be accessed two miles west of the community. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the link between the Western Shore and rural Eastern Shore, is two miles northeast.

The Naval Academy and U.S. Naval Academy Museum are three miles east. Whole Foods Market, Westfield Mall and downtown Annapolis are also nearby.

Annapolis has a popular vibe that is relaxed, sophisticated and attractive to working professionals, and it’s our ambition to cultivate that spirit with Maris,” said Sam Fuller, division president of the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions for LMC. “The area’s fairly restricted supply of apartments bodes well for current and future apartment demand and growth. We believe Maris, with its well-appointed finishes and unique array of community amenities, captures and complements the area, and has the opportunity to establish itself as the premier place to live in Annapolis for many years to come.”

First move-ins took place on February 1st.
