LMC Breaks Ground on Atlanta Mixed-Use Community

The 21-story Gentry will comprise 290 units and 6,000 square feet of street-level retail. First move-ins are scheduled to begin in mid-2020.

In partnership with Hoar Construction, LMC has broken ground on Gentry, a luxury mixed-use apartment building in Atlanta’s Buckhead Village. This development comes off the heels of the two companies’ collaboration on The Morris in Nashville, a luxury mixed-use community that opened last November.

Located at 3172 Roswell Road, Gentry is a redevelopment of a 1-acre surface parking lot. The 21-story tower will comprise 290 units and 6,000 square feet of street-level retail. First move-ins are scheduled to begin in mid-2020. Gentry will offer studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, as well as penthouse-level suites. Some interior features will include high-end finishes, custom cabinetry, kitchen islands, wood-plank style flooring, private balconies and wine fridges. Residents will have access to amenities including:

  • eighth floor terrace
  • outdoor grills
  • outdoor movie theater
  • 21st floor amenity level
  • private dining room
  • catering kitchen
  • lounge
  • pool table
  • swimming pool
  • indoor/outdoor bar
  • cabanas
  • fitness center with indoor/outdoor yoga
  • bike storage

Robust TOD

“Buckhead is booming and continues to be a high-demand market, and we believe Gentry will provide a much needed top-tier living option in the area,” Chris Cassidy, division president of the Southeast for LMC, told Multi-Housing News. “Our residents will be surrounded with a multitude of options with the centralized location, whether their desire is to stay within the vibrant neighborhood or commute to the other key locales in the city.”

Gentry will offer convenient access to The Buckhead Theater, Whole Foods, the Atlanta History Center, Lenox Mall, The Shops at Buckhead, Trader Joe’s and Phipps Plaza. Nearby transit options include the Buckhead MARTA station, Georgia State Route 400 and interstates 85 and 75.
