LCOR Tops Out New York Suburban Tower
Upon completion, the 307-unit luxury property will be all-electric.
LCOR, together with general contractor LRC Construction, has topped out a 307-unit residential tower in New Rochelle, N.Y. In August 2023, the developer received $94 million in financing, originated by Pacific Life Insurance.
The 28-story building will have units in studio to two-bedroom apartment configurations. The property will also feature 31 units which are reserved for households earning 80 percent of the area median income.
The community will be all-electric, with geothermal wells located deep under the building which will act as heating and cooling systems.
Amenities will include coworking spaces, tenant lounges, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center with yoga studio, a rooftop sky lounge, controlled access, a conservatory and an above ground and subterranean parking with 257 spots, according to Yardi Matrix data. Additionally, 1,800 square feet of the ground floor are designated for commercial space.
Located at 247 North Ave., the property is two blocks away from New Rochelle train station and next to Highway 1. New York City is less than 27 miles southwest. Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital and Monroe University are less than a mile away.
Earlier this month, a joint venture between Lendlease and Aware Super has topped out 1 Java St., a two-tower property in Brooklyn, N.Y. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
