Jacksonville, Fla.—LandSouth Construction has completed two new apartment communities: Lost Lake Resort Apartment in Jacksonville, Fla., and Phillips Research Park in scenic Durham, N.C.
“Both of these communities were built using our integrated approach to construction,” James Pyle, LandSouth Construction’s president and CEO, tells MHN. “We like to partner with owners and developers seeking contractors that provide proven procedures, seamless delivery systems and technology. This was the case with Phillips Development in North Carolina and P.A.C Land Development in Florida.”
The Florida property is a $21 million community at the southwest corner of J. Turner Boulevard and Southside Boulevard. The gated community features one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with one or two baths averaging 1,096 square feet of living space.
“Lost Lake Resort was built as a high-quality multifamily community. The prime location and luxurious design has met the market demand,” Pyle says. “The property is attracting residents who enjoy amenity-rich lifestyles and convenience of location near major employment centers, retail, restaurants and recreation.”
Amenities include an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse with a full-service fitness center, indoor basketball court, Cyber Café, zero entry resort style pool and spa. Other amenities include volleyball courts, resort cabanas, a dog park, covered hammock areas and an outdoor kitchen with grills.
The North Carolina property is a $19.8 million luxury apartment community consisting one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with one or two baths ranging from 780 to 1,173 square feet of living space.
“Phillips at Research Park offers a combination of great location, superb amenities and thoughtful design including a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse and 20 acres of undisturbed woodlands for walking, jogging or biking,” Pyle says. “As part of the Research Triangle Park area, the luxury apartment community is close to Duke University and home to 157 companies, 39,000 full-time employees and 10,000+ contract employees.”
