The Related Group and Block Capital Group have broken ground on The Bradley, a mixed-use, micro-apartment project in the Wynwood district in Miami. The property will include 175 studio-, one-, and two-bedroom units ranging from 480 square feet to 1,000 square feet, and there will be as much as 32,000 square feet of commercial space.
Common amenities will include a second-story courtyard, rooftop pool and amenity deck with city views, and a fitness center. In-unit features include floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in closets, in-unit washer and dryer and a keyless entry system.
About 80 percent of residences will probably rent for less than $2,000 per month. Completion is slated for late 2019.
Curated Art
The Bradley will also feature a collection of curated artworks and on-site murals. Kravitz Design—founded by recording artist Lenny Kravitz—will be creative director for the development, providing direction for its public areas and amenity spaces. Global architecture firm Arquitectonica designed the building.
There is demand for multifamily properties in Wynwood, a neighborhood known for its arts. “Having been a long-time resident of Miami, I’ve been able to be a part of the evolution of many of the city’s neighborhoods,” said Kravitz. “Wynwood has become a destination, not just for the people of Miami, but of the world.”
Related has an additional three properties in the neighborhood, including Wynwood 25, a 289-unit rental property which recently completed vertical construction; The Annex, a 50,000 square-foot office and retail development; and Wynwood 29, a 182-unit micro condo development.
