Jefferson Apartment Group has started management operations at Sea Isle, a 356-unit, Class A community in Orlando, Fla. The property is currently undergoing several upgrades, including interior and amenity renovations. In April, JAG sold a 262-unit community in Norwood, Mass. The asset traded for $103.6 million.
Built in 2013, Sea Isle comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. Interiors have been upgraded with smart thermostats, smart locks and light fixtures. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor fireplace with grill area, dog park and on-site car wash. The property also features a new 13,000-square-foot clubhouse.
Located at 6801 Sea Coral Drive, on about 16 acres, the 10-building community is just off Interstate 4. The surrounding area has several retail and dining locations, including Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, which is 3 miles from Sea Isle. The property is also within 1 mile of SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica Orlando.
