Jay Massirman Joins Related Group As Senior MD
Jay Massirman has joined the Related Group as senior managing director.

Miami–Jay Massirman has joined the Related Group as senior managing director. He will focus on the team’s acquisition efforts in Related’s core markets in the Southeast and in select markets nationwide. The firm will be targeting all product types and deal structures.
“The opportunity to team with Jorge Perez and the Related Group is unparalleled,” says Massirman. Massirman served as managing director of Rivergate Companies LLC and the Massirman Group, firms he founded in 2007 to acquire and manage distressed assets.
Rivergate will maintain its current office as a real estate holding company. Prior to forming Rivergate, Massirman was a vice chairman of CBRE, where over the course of his 20- year career, he was involved in the disposition and financing of all asset types including the sale of over 76,000 multifamily units valued in excess of $10 billion.
