A portfolio of four South Carolina and Florida senior living communities has been acquired by Inspirit Senior Living. Brookdale Senior Living, which recently secured a large Freddie Mac loan to refinance existing debt on a different portfolio, was the former operator of the communities. The properties include The Collier at Naples in Naples, Fla.; The Pointe in St. Petersburg, Fla.; The Landmark in Clearwater, Fla.; and The Parker in Greenville, S.C.
A joint venture involving Inspirit and Venue Capital LLC (Vencap) plans the immediate launch of a renovation program that will focus on each community’s unique setting and characteristics.
Like other Inspirit properties, these four communities will offer not only independent and assisted living options, but Inspirit’s Sage Program for memory-impaired residents.
Set on 3 acres overlooking the Gordon River, The Collier at Naples features a resort lifestyle and suite alternatives extending from 270 to 1,250 square feet in size. A resident fitness center represents one of the property’s most prominent amenities.
The center of the St. Petersburg Bay Pines Peninsula is the setting for The Pointe, a property set on a 4-acre parcel surrounded by Boca Ciega Bay. Tropical courtyards lead the list of common-area amenities at the community.
Also spread across 4 acres is The Landmark. This property is situated near the Gold Coast beaches of the Pinellas Suncoast and feature common-area amenities that include a fireside living room. Mease Countryside Hospital is located across the street.
Set on more than 3 acres, The Parker is located in the historic downtown area of Greenville, steps away from the center city’s leading attractions and restaurants. A therapy/fitness center tops the roster of community amenities.
