Denver—Holland Partner Group announced it’s starting construction on Platform at Union Station, a 287-unit, transit-oriented community in the Union Station neighborhood in Denver. Once complete, the community will be managed by Holland Residential, the operations division of Holland Partner Group.
Platform at Union Station will be a 21-story high-rise community with direct access to transportation. The units will feature 9-foot ceilings, oversized windows, patios and balconies and walk-in closets.
“The Platform at Union Station will offer residents phenomenal walkability to downtown Denver and all the city has to offer,” Clyde Holland, CEO of Holland Partner Group, tells MHN. “The community is just steps away from the new Union Station terminal, so residents will have quick and easy access to multiple modes of public transportation.”
Union Station, which is currently being remodeled, will feature Amtrak service and RTD FasTracks to Denver International Airport. It will also integrate light rail and commuter rail with regional, express and local bus service.
Amenities for the smoke-free community will include a 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour concierge, a swimming pool, clubroom, dog run and resident conference room.
Additionally Platform at Union Station will be environmentally friendly. Holland Partner Group is planning for LEED Gold Certification, and the units will feature energy-efficient light fixtures and appliances, low-flow showers and toilets, energy-saving windows and doors and drought-resistant shrubbery and landscaping.
“As members of the Denver community, we understand the importance of sleek design, green amenities, smoke-free living combined with unprecedented views of both the surrounding city and the front-range Rocky Mountains,” Holland says. “Platform is the community that delivers all of these benefits along with a LEED-Gold certification. It’s an honor to be an integral part of the redevelopment of Denver’s historic Union Station district and provide the type of community residents want.”
