Chicago—HFF, on behalf of Malkin Properties of Illinois Inc., has announced that it will market the sale of Glen Oaks Commons, a 504-unit, mid-rise apartment community in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.
Glen Oaks Commons includes seven four-story buildings on 17.6 acres, and features with one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The average size of the apartments is 938 square feet.
Amenities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool and sundeck, fitness center, playground, volleyball courts and tennis courts.
The community is conveniently located near O’Hare International Airport, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Interstate 294.
According to HFF, 50 percent of Glen Oaks Commons apartments has been renovated, incluing upgrades to kitchens, bathrooms and common areas.
Currently, Glen Oaks Commons is 97 percent occupied.
