Havenpark Expands Iowa MHC
The expansion will include 66 new sites for affordable, manufactured homes.

Havenpark Communities has announced its expansion of West Branch Village, a manufactured homes community located in West Branch Village, Iowa. The developer will add 66 new manufactured homes, expected to be delivered next month.
The new three-bedroom and two-bathroom houses will offer more than 1,200 square feet of space and a variety of modern finishes, with prices starting at $75,000. The owner is working with different builders for the new homes, that will be available for purchase or rental.
West Branch Village is located at 157 Powell St. and is a pet-friendly manufactured home community with no age restrictions. Common-area amenities include a playground, a dog park and recreational facilities, as well as planned activities for the residents. The community is situated 12.7 miles from Iowa City, 14.8 miles from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and 15.9 miles from Iowa City Municipal Airport.
Helping solve the U.S. affordable housing crisis
After purchasing the property in April 2019, the owner added more than 30 new mobile homes and made capital upgrades, including a new playground and basketball court as well as increased access to Hoover Trail. Prior to the first expansion, West Branch Village had 183 homes.
Havenpark Communities announced plans to add more than 1,000 affordable units to its portfolio this year in Iowa and across the country. Earlier this year, the company acquired a 493-site manufactured homes community in Mesa, Ariz., for $44 million or $89,249 per site.
