Harvey Commercial Presents New Acoustic Windows

The product achieved a 44 Sound Transmission Class rating and is also available in different colors, trims and glazes.

Harvey Commercial Solutions—a division of Harvey Building Products, a manufacturer and distributor of windows and doors established in 1984—has launched the new Energy Star-qualified Harvey Classic Acoustic Vinyl Double Hung windows, which help make homes quieter with noise reduction technology, while also saving on heating and cooling costs.

Properties eligible for noise-abatement assistance can gain relief from overhead-airplane sounds from programs aiming to insulate homes from intrusive noises and activities, such as Residential Sound Insulation Programs (RSIP). The goal is to create quieter residential environments that meet Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) noise-reduction criteria. Homes in an RSIP program are evaluated and eligible to receive new attic insulation, acoustically rated exterior doors, storm doors and windows.

Harvey’s new windows have achieved a Sound Transmission Class rating of 44 and are available in different colors (white, almond, brushed nickel and bronze), trims (colonial and Windsor), casings, grids (colonial, prairie and custom) and glazing options. Other features include: fiberglass screen, factory calibrated block and tackle sash balances.
