Griffis/Blessing to Manage Apartment Property near Colorado Springs

Griffis/Blessing, a Colorado Springs, Colo.,-based property management and real estate investment firm, has been selected to manage the recently developed Overlook at Fountain Creek Apartments, a 24-unit apartment community in Fountain, Colo.
This is the second community in Fountain under the firm’s management and the 11th in the firm’s Colorado Springs GB Select Portfolio.
The pet-friendly property has a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhouse-style apartment homes ranging in size from 669 to 981 square feet. Apartment features include gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and pantries. The residences also have spacious closets and in-unit washers and dryers.
The property at 1019 Grinde Drive is located alongside the Fountain Creek Trail in Fountain, a Colorado Springs suburb. Overlook at Fountain Creek Apartments is also near the Fountain Creek Regional Park and Nature Center. Residents will have uninterrupted views of the Front Range from their private patios or balconies.
The community is situated near Highway 85 and Highway 87 and a short drive from Interstate 25. Dining, shopping and entertainment options are also located nearby. There are three shopping centers within 2.6 miles. Three military bases are located less than 30 miles from Overlook at Fountain Creek Apartments, including Peterson Air Force Base, which is 12.7 miles away, or about a 22-minute drive.

Founded in 1985, Griffis/Blessing has additional offices in Denver, Grand Junction, Colo., and Overland Park, Kan. The firm currently manages almost 6 million square feet of commercial space and more than 11,000 apartment units.
In May 2023, the firm was selected to manage five newly-built apartment communities along the Western Slope. At that time, the additions grew Griffis/Blessing’s Western Slope portfolio to eight apartment communities. The properties are Buffalo Valley in Glenwood Springs, Colo., sister properties Mesa Residences and Mulberry Residences in Fruita, Colo., and Market Street Residences and Struthers Residences, both in Grand Junction, Colo.
In November 2020, a partnership of Griffis/Blessing and Freshwater Investments closed on the $48 million acquisition of Savoy Luxury Apartments in Overland Park from Fogelman Properties. Built in 2002, the 254-unit community is about 20 miles south of downtown Kansas City, Kan.
