Charleston, S.C.—Davis Property Group has tasked Greystar Student Living to manage 400 Meeting Street Apartments, a student housing property in the Old and Historic District of Charleston. The development is a 160-bed property that will be built on 1.17 acres on Meeting St. between Mary and Reid Sts.
The development will offer two- and four-bedroom apartments ranging from 863 square feet to 1,515 square feet. Each unit will be fully furnished and include a full-sized washer and dryer. Amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, pet walk, courtyards, covered bicycle racks and a grilling area.
400 Meeting Street is in midtown Charleston, within walking distance to the College of Charleston, the Charleston School of Law, and the Upper King Street District’s retail area. According to the developer, the project will also include green features such as an on-site car-sharing program for residents who occasionally need a car to get around town.
Dallas-based Greystar Student Living is Greystar’s national student housing platform, and it manages over 13,000 beds throughout the country. 400 Meeting Street is its first South Carolina property.
