Greystar Launches New Senior Housing Brand
The first project, Album Keller Ranch, will include 180 units in Fort Worth, Texas, for residents 55 years and older.
Greystar Real Estate Partners has launched another senior housing brand with its latest project in Fort Worth, Texas. In partnership with The Carlyle Group, Greystar will build a 180-unit senior community for those 55 years of age or older. The project, called Album Keller Ranch, has begun construction and is expecting its first move-ins in spring 2021 while also currently pre-leasing units.
Album Keller Ranch will be built with one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 675 to 1,226 square feet with some units including walk-in closets, private balconies or pet yards. The residents will also get access to a clubhouse, fitness center, TV lounge, dedicated spaces for media, games, and arts and crafts and an outdoor area with a lounge, kitchen, heated swimming pool, fire pit, dog park, walking paths and community garden.
The senior housing community will also be a part of Greystar’s mixed-use master planned development that includes retail and Elan Keller Ranch, a garden-style apartment community.
GREYSTAR’S BAND OF BRANDS
Album Keller Ranch will be Greystar’s first project in its latest senior housing brand. Jackie Rhone, executive director of Greystar Active Adult Apartment Homes, said in prepared remarks that the Album brand was created in response to a growing demand for more affordable modern active adult rental communities.
Album will join Greystar’s other senior housing brands, Overture and Everleigh. In August, the developer also announced plans for Overture Hamlin, which is also an 180-unit senior housing community for active adults, in Winter Garden, Fla. Outside the senior housing sector, Greystar also recently opened a 327-unit luxury community in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
