APP GreenBadgerKeeping track of LEED construction credits is no easy task. While LEED v4 aims to improve the process, there is still a host of associated complexities that remain. Green Badger is here to help.

The Georgia-based company recently unveiled a mobile LEED documenting app at Greenbuild in Philadelphia. Geared towards general contractors, architects and LEED professionals, the software can document and organize LEED construction credits across single of multiple projects.

Accessible via phone or tablet, the Green Badger LEED Documentation App allows users to track construction waste, create and send real time erosion control reports, manage sustainable material credits and instantly verify the VOC contents of thousands of paints, coatings, sealants and adhesives. By simply scanning the UPC via a phone or tablet’s camera, the user is able to gain access to the product’s office MSDS information. After the input phase, the app outputs documentation suitable for LEED certification review.

With a price tag of $189.99, Green Badger says the product pays for itself by avoiding a few hours searching for MSDS sheets or the submittals necessary for LEED certification. According to their math, the Green Badger LEED Documentation APP has an ROI of saving 10 minutes a month.

The software is supported by iOS and Android devices, and is available for download through iTunes or the Android Market. Future plans have Green Badger releasing a student version for a new generation of architects, designers and builders. Be sure to visit Green Badger for more info.
