Austin’s newest office tower is fully leased. Colorado Tower, the 30-story, 373,000-square-foot Class A property developed by Cousins Properties Inc., is expected to reach stabilized occupancy in the first quarter of 2016.
The $126 million office building was delivered in January 2015, after approximately 18 months in development. When Cousins began construction, only 17 percent of the space was pre-leased. Its tenants include Parsley Energy Inc., Atlassian Inc., and Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr PC.
“Austin continues to exceed our expectations,” Larry Gellerstedt, president & CEO of Cousins Properties said in a statement. “With Colorado Tower now 100 percent leased at rents which have grown over 35% since our initial leasing efforts began in 2012, this project represents another outstanding win for Cousins and our shareholders.”
