Fluid Expands Eco-Friendly Low-Flow Fixture Line
Sustainable Solutions International's Fluid brand has expanded its offering of low-flow fixtures that meet the USGBC's WaterSense labeling program. The addition of a single-handle faucet to five of the brand's collections means there are even more green options for your next contemporary bath design.
Low-flow bath and kitchen fixtures are quickly become a staple of today’s sustainable apartment developments. The high-pressure aerated steams produce a comfortable and effective flow of water without using nearly as much of the resource as traditional fixtures. In fact, the only real difference in using low-flow fixtures will be realized in the savings on your property’s utility bill.
Vancouver-based sustainable bath and kitchen fixture brand Fluid has unveiled several additions to its catalog of low-flow products. The line, which is distributed by Sustainable Solutions International (SSi), has rounded out its offerings of low-flow bath faucets by adding single-lever wall-mounted versions to five collections: Wisdom, Jovian, Utopia, Penguin and Sublime. Each single-lever wall-mounted faucet features heavy brass construction for durability, SSi’s Eco-Care pivot aerator which reduces the water flow to 1.5 gpm at 60 psi, and SSi’s Smart Connect for a quick spout installation. The Fluid line presents eight collections of contemporary options for the bathroom. All of the flow-regulated faucets meet the USGBC’s WaterSense labeling program.
“Our faucets are popular because of their contemporary styling, built-in aerators and WaterSense labeling, but we wanted to make sure that we were able to provide complete bathroom fixture solutions,” says Doug Sproule, COO of Sustainable Solutions International. “Because we also distribute the full line of Caroma dual-flush HET toilets, and now with our more complete offering of fixtures, there shouldn’t be a bathroom designed that doesn’t use one of our products.”
F-820 and F-821The manufacturer also recently unveiled two additions to the kitchen series: F-810 and F-821. The contemporary faucets are constructed of a polished chrome pull-down high arc spout designed with 360 degree rotation capability. A single handle operation allows both volume and temperature control of a dual-function head that has an aerated flow of 2.2 gpm at 60 psi.
