Brazil-based company Eliane has launched its new collection called Ecocement, which has been constructed with 20 percent pre-consumer recycled content for LEED designs with tile in commercial or residential building projects. Ecocement is characterized as being satiny to touch. Its subtle use of silk screening in the production process results in a life-like, natural look and finish.
The product is available in two sizes, 18-in. x 36-in. and 18-in. x 18-in., for both floors and walls in a range of colors.
Marcio Muller, Eliane’s vice president/export director, says, “Ecocement is manufactured through a very ‘green’ process. Eliane spent a great deal of time researching and developing Ecocement prior to bringing it to the market.”
