El-Ad National Properties Plans South Florida Community
Expected to come online in 2025, the community is set to be the largest ever built in Davie, Fla.
Developer El-Ad National Properties is developing a project that it expects will be the largest multifamily community ever built in Davie, Fla. The mixed-use District in Davie will total 2.8 million square feet and include retail space.
Located at 4801-4999 S State Road 7, the District in Davie will feature approximately 1,250 Class A residential units. Apartments will be made up of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 589 to 1,460 square feet. Units will offer keyless entry, high-speed internet and smart thermostats, while the property will host 36,000 square feet of restaurants and retail space.
The District in Davie’s five buildings will rise to heights between 20 and 24 stories. A reservable, penthouse-level “Sky Lounge” tops the roster of amenities offered.
Construction on the $1 billion dollar project is expected to begin in mid-2023, with pre-leasing anticipated by early 2025. The project is to be developed in three phases, with Phase One is slated for completion in 2025.
The development’s architect is Atlanta-based Cooper Carry. Providing landscape architecture is EDSA of Fort Lauderdale.
A total of 10 other municipalities, encompassing one-third of Broward County, border Davie, which is near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades. The District in Davie is located near the Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., one of the state’s largest hospitality-entertainment centers.
