Fredericksburg, Va.–Birmingham-based Doster Construction Company’s multi-state reach increased when it was recently awarded Station Square at Cosner’s Corner Phase II in Fredericksburg, Va. Ground will be broken in the first quarter of 2015 on the 120-unit project. Centrally located between Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Va., Station Square will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom contemporary residences.
Doster will work closely with developer MAA Communities on the four-building community. “It is our experience that gets us chosen as GC in the first place. Doster’s multifamily group is led by Tom Reynolds, who has over 30 years of wood frame multifamily experience. We take a long-term approach to the relationship, which allows us to put the owner’s success before our own. This approach to each project allows for a win-win Doster/client strategy, and produces a trusting relationship for projects in the years to come,” Grant McCaleb, business development manager for Doster Construction Company, tells MHN.
Davis Architects designed Station Square, a NAHB Research Center Green Certified community. Each apartment unit features crown molding, private screened-in balconies and patios, full washers and dryers, king-size bedrooms with walk-in closets. Community amenities include a resort-style pool, a fully equipped fitness center and business center.
“Our preconstruction team combined with our experience brings tangible value to each project,” McCaleb says. “We work closely with our clients and the design team to dig into the details and maximize efficiencies saving dollars that can be used on the finish level and amenities.”
