Dominium Promotes Owen Metz as Developer
Dominium, an apartment development and management company, announced that it has promoted Owen Metz as developer at its corporate office in Plymouth, Minn.
Minneapolis—Dominium, an apartment development and management company, announced that it has promoted Owen Metz as developer at its corporate office in Plymouth, Minn. In his new role, Metz will be responsible for new project development, acquisition and financing. In addition, his daily responsibilities will include analyzing new acquisition opportunities, determining project feasibility, overseeing design and construction, partnership restructuring and negotiating with lenders, investors and third party vendors.
A Dominium employee since 2006, Metz has played a major role in Dominium’s entrance into the Texas multifamily market with the acquisition and renovation of 1,000 apartment homes located throughout the state. Recently, he was responsible for closing on the Schmidt Brewery Artist Lofts, a full-scale renovation and reconfiguration of the existing Schmidt Brewing Company Bottling House and Brew House.
Born in Beaver Dam, Wis., Metz received his bachelor’s degree in both real estate and finance from the Wisconsin School of Business at University of Wisconsin–Madison. He currently resides in Plymouth, Minn.
