Dominium Opens 2 Affordable Communities in Denver
North Range Crossings and East Range Crossings include 468 units combined.
Dominium has opened two affordable housing properties in Denver. North Range Crossings in Commerce City, Colo., has 216 units, while East Range Crossings encompasses 252 units near the Denver International Airport.
Located at 14350 E. 104th Ave., North Range Crossings is near multiple dining, shopping and entertainment options and within a roughly 25-minute drive of Denver. The development features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in three-story buildings. Amenities include a courtyard, a grilling space, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, playgrounds, a bike barn, a fitness center and a maintenance facility, as well as detached garages and carports.

Key Bank, Alliant, Barings, PWN Architects & Planners Inc., the Colorado Housing Finance Authority, the City of Commerce City and the Commerce City Housing Authority were among Dominium’s partners. The project broke ground in October 2017.
Mixed-income property
Located approximately 10 miles away at 5959 N. Dunkirk St., East Range Crossings is near the recently opened Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center. The property encompasses a mix of one- to three-bedroom units, all in three-story structures. Ninety percent of the apartments are reserved for residents earning up to 60 percent of the area’s median income, 5 percent of them are set aside for those earning up to 50 percent of the AMI and the remainder is for residents earning up to 40 percent of the AMI.
The Colorado Housing Finance Authority, Bank of America, Barings, the Denver Housing Authority and the Denver Office of Economic Development also contributed to this project, which broke ground in April 2018. East Range Crossings is one of the first projects to receive funding from Denver’s dedicated affordable housing fund.
