Denver-Area Project Moves Forward With BTR Phase
This development already includes a 198-unit multifamily community.

A partnership between Hillside Commercial Group and Landmark Homes’ Livmark Communities is developing the second phase of The Bend at Highland Meadows in Loveland, Colo. This 45-unit build-to-rent component is slated for completion in the fall of 2026.
Livmark’s in-house general contractor, Landmark Construction Solutions, is leading the homebuilding efforts. Greystar will provide BTR property management.
The second phase is rising next to The Bend’s multifamily segment, a 198-unit community at 6153 American Oaks St., about 52 miles north of downtown Denver. A golf course is within walking distance, while Interstate 25 and a multi-purpose, 240-acre entertainment venue are within 2 miles.

Upon delivery, Phase Two will comprise townhome and stacked ranch units featuring two- and three-bedroom layouts. Select homes are set to feature private fenced yards, while common-area amenities will include open spaces designed for outdoor activities.
This isn’t the first Livmark project blending multifamily and build-to-rent communities. The developer plans to build Link 56’s residential component, which will combine the two property types, according to its website. Located near Denver International Airport, this endeavor is part of the $235 million first phase of a larger mixed-use development by Kensington and IM Properties.
Metro Denver’s resilient BTR pipeline
As of May, Metro Denver’s BTR pipeline comprised upward of 1,150 units under construction across six projects, each with 50 or more rental homes, according to Yardi Matrix data.
One such development is the 269-unit Oxenfree Commerce City. Core Spaces broke ground on the Commerce City, Colo., project last September, and the first homes are slated for delivery next year.
As for BTR deliveries, one community totaling 151 units has come online since the beginning of the year, already surpassing the 78 units that entered Denver’s inventory in 2024, the data provider shows. Some 420 rental homes are expected to reach completion in the metro throughout 2025.
