The company was recognized by the EPA for its commitment to sustainability and efficiency.

breezFremont, Calif.—Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reviews the products of its extensive network of 16,000 Energy Star partners to determine the select companies that demonstrate a commitment to creating energy-efficient products without compromising on quality as part of its Energy Star Partner of the Year Awards. In 2016, 149 winners were chosen, among which was Delta Products Corporation, which received the Energy Star Partner of the Year – Product Brand Owner Award for its Breez ventilation fans.

“Delta’s Energy Star certified products are helping Americans save money, save energy, and do their part to reduce our nation’s greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change,” said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. “Delta’s efforts demonstrate a strong commitment to energy efficiency and to preserving a healthy planet for future generations.”

Manufactured by the world’s top provider of DC brushless fans and blowers, Delta’s Breez fan utilizes motor technology and switching power supplies to ensure efficiency. With quiet operation and state-of-the-art blower technology that meets the air quality needs of multifamily residences, Breez fans can be purchased in varying sizes, airflow levels and features in order to fit any property and budget.

Delta cites its DC brushless motor as the key to its exceptional efficiency, as they are engineered to outlast the typical AC motor model by up to 70 percent, meaning a DC motor reduces the need for replacement. Delta’s DC fans use 74 percent less power than AC motor exhaust fans, and they exceed Energy Star requirements by as much as 800 percent.
