Decron Properties Corp. has re-opened Reserve at Chino Hills, following the company’s $10 million renovation of the garden-style apartment community in Chino Hills, Calif. Decron first acquired the asset, formerly known as Village Crossing, in August 2014 for $82.3 million.

Located at 4200 Village Drive, the 440-unit property is situated on 22 acres and offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units. After investing $21,000 per unit, monthly rents will now range from $1,495 to $2,000. Interior improvements included kitchens with granite countertops, modern lighting, new hardware and fixtures, wood-like vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances and in-unit washer/dryers. The firm also remodeled the community’s three pools with the addition of fire pits, barbecue grills and resort-quality outdoor lounge furniture. Residents have access to additional amenities including:

  • indoor-outdoor lanais
  • two-story clubhouse
  • 1,500-square-foot fitness center
  • 1,000-square-foot Wi-Fi lounge
  • billiards
  • video game room
  • kid space

“Most rental housing in Los Angeles is either too expensive or too old and lacking the amenities today’s renters want,” said David Nagel, CEO of Decron Properties Corp.  “We took the best of what the property had to offer and enhanced it to create an affordable luxury living environment that is within the reach of most working families in Los Angeles. The result is an apartment community with a resort feel, that our residents can be proud to call home.”
