Trekker collection
Havwoods International, a global engineered wood supplier, has introduced a line of decking products suitable for multifamily settings. The Trekker collection comes as a response to a growing demand for luxury apartment and condominium decking products made from solid construction. These products provide greater impact resistance and ensure a smaller surface area, resulting in less chance of water absorption.
The FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) Trekker collection is made entirely from recycled wood and plastics. The product line offers a range of composite decking and cladding boards suitable for both external and internal use.
Havwoods’ new collection consists of three color grades including chocolate, oak and vulcan. It offers textured designs such as wood grain, fluted and fascia. The easy-to-install boards are fixed with clips and only require an occasional wash with plain water for maintenance. The Trekker is UV treated for fade resistance and, to create a streamlined aesthetic to exterior surfaces, the collection includes matching trims.
