Dallas—Dallas-based global developer and investor Harwood International has announced it will break ground this autumn on Bleu Ciel, a 33-story luxury apartment tower expected to transform the growing Harwood district of Dallas.
Bleu Ciel will incorporate 158 luxury residences, each offering dramatic views enhanced by floor-to-ceiling glass. Terraces will feature romantic outdoor fireplaces and sprawl up to 7,500 square feet in size, to provide opportunities for outdoor relaxation few other Metroplex high-rise communities can claim.
Bleu Ciel residences will feature two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 1,300 to more than 7,000 square feet. Homes will include designer-appointed upscale finishes and premium appliances.
“Dallas is ready for another iconic architectural masterpiece to follow buildings by major international architects from the U.K., Italy and Holland,” reports Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, founder and CEO of Harwood International. “Bleu Ciel is located at the highest vantage point overlooking Uptown and Downtown Dallas, and is Dallas’ first high-rise designed by a French architect.”
Bleu Ciel’s design involved collaboration between Jean-Michel Wilmotte of Paris, acclaimed globally for his eclectic approach to architectural design and application of high-quality materials and detailing, and Dallas-based HDF LLC.
Wilmotte & Associes SA has a major presence in well-known art museums, retail, office, corporate headquarters, high-end residential buildings and luxury hotels. Notable projects include the Ferrari Sporting Management Center, Maranello-Fiorano; La Reserve Hotel, Ramatuelle; LVMH’s headquarters, Paris; Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Paris; and Musee d’Orsay, Paris.
Boasting a Walk Score of 92, Harwood is an 18-city-block district offering an abundance of culture, along with an independent spirit and calming atmosphere.
Residents of Bleu Ciel will find themselves situated within steps of upscale boutiques, restaurants and entertainment attractions.
Among those attractions are the Katy Trail, American Airlines Center, The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Klyde Warren Park, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Design District and Arts District.
Amenities will include two junior Olympic-size pools with cascading water features, cabanas, hot tub, poolside kitchen and grills, as well as a resident-only spa. The ground level of Bleu Ciel will offer a park, urban grocery, restaurant, juice bar and bike shop. Luxurious conveniences available to residents will include poolside service, residential grocery delivery and takeout.
A wine tasting room with climate-controlled wine storage and social spaces, private boardroom, onsite dog run, social room with full catering kitchen and event space with private catering available are among additional amenities.
“Wilmotte & Associes S.A. and Harwood International are equally proud to enhance such a prominent site with this beacon of architecture,” says Barbier-Mueller. “This sky-rise will offer residents unrivaled 360-degree views from the spacious terraces, which will be among the largest in the U.S.”
