Curley Joins Fletcher Thompson as Principal of College and University Architecture

New York--Fletcher Thompson, an architectural, engineering and interior design firm, has added W.J. Patrick Curley, AIA, as principal of the firm’s College and University Practice Group.

New York–Fletcher Thompson, an architectural, engineering and interior design firm, has added W.J. Patrick Curley, AIA, as principal of the firm’s College and University Practice Group. Curley’s was brought on to enhance the firm’s success in the design and construction of higher education facilities as well as improve the client-focused, service-driven college and university market group.

Curley’s 20 years of architectural experience in specialized college and university projects range from campus master plans to renovation, addition and new construction projects for residence halls, student life centers, sports and recreation facilities, theaters and libraries. He has worked with diverse user groups and stakeholders, including senior academic administrators, trustees, faculty and students.

As principal, he will lead the programming and design phases, manage the design team, and coordinate, communicate and control all professional service activities that are necessary for each project’s successful completion.

Curley is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Trinity College and a master’s degree in architecture from the Yale School of Architecture.
