Creating a ‘Significant Cultural Landmark’
A joint venture between CMC Group and the Capital Group have begun the conversion of reservations to contracts for Brickell Flatiron, a 64-story slender glass tower luxury condominium development in downtown Miami.

Miami—A joint venture between CMC Group and the Capital Group have begun the conversion of reservations to contracts for Brickell Flatiron, a 64-story slender glass tower luxury condominium development in downtown Miami.
When finished, the development will contain 548 units and will be one of the tallest residential properties in Downtown Miami. Brickell Flatiron will also bring the work of legendary artist Julian Schnabel to its community through the recently opened sales gallery, which doubles as a public art space.
“Our goal with each of our developments is to not just build a building, it is to create a significant cultural landmark which engages the community and enhances the neighborhood,” Ugo Colombo, CMC Group’s founder, says. “The design concept for Brickell Flatiron was for the building to be seen as a piece of art in itself, both inside and out.”
Brickell Flatiron will offer expansive one- through five-bedroom homes, as well as a limited collection of penthouse and duplex residences. All will feature wide elliptical balconies with panoramic views of the Miami Skyline and Biscayne Bay, premium custom Italian finishes and professional grade German appliances.
Amenities include a state-of-the-art business center and conference room, a private residents’ movie theater, event space, children’s play area and game room, a second 18th floor pool designed for lap swimming, 24-hour valet and covered garage self-parking.
The building’s 40,000 square feet of retail space will also feature shopping, a restaurant and lobby lounge.
The development was designed by architect Luis Revuelta, and Julian Schnabel is designing its lobby and public spaces.
“We’re eager to be moving ahead with converting our early reservations to contracts at Brickell Flatiron,” Vanessa Grout, CMC Real Estate’s president, says. “All of the units released by the developer at this stage are completely reserved. This represents one third of the project total. We look forward to seeing our sales momentum continue and are so pleased with the early response.”
Construction is expected to be complete in 2017.
